Их сургуулийн түүх:

Birmingham дахь Алабамагийн их сургууль нь 1969 онд байгуулагдсан. 1895 онд Алабамагийн анагаах ухааны коллеж байгуулагдсан ба 1936 онд Алабамагийн их сургуулийг өргөжүүлэх Birmingham төвүүд хаалгаа нээснээр Birmingham дахь Алабамаагийн их сургууль үүсэн байгуулагдах үндэс суурь нь тавигдсан байна. 1945 онд Tuscaloosa-д байсан Алабамагийн анагаах ухааны коллеж Birmingham-руу нүүж их сургуулийн анагаах ухааны төв байгуулагдсан.
